Land Acknowledgement

AWM Private Guided Tours Ltd and Adventures With Meaning operates within the traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial.

Our guiding activities take place across what is now known as the Canadian Rocky Mountains, including areas within Treaty 7 territory, home to the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai Nations), the Stoney Nakoda Nations, and the Tsuut’ina Nation, as well as within regions with historic and ongoing connections to the Métis Nationand other Indigenous Peoples.

In northern areas of our operations, including Jasper National Park, we acknowledge the traditional territories of the Secwépemc, Ktunaxa, Cree, Dane-zaa, and Métis Peoples.

We recognize the deep relationships between Indigenous Peoples and these landscapes and commit to guiding with respect, care, and humility.
