After more than 25 years guiding in these mountains, I’ve found that the best days begin this way, with clarity before commitment.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

After you send your inquiry:

1) You’ll hear back within 12–24 hours

You’ll receive a thoughtful email reply. If anything is unclear, I’ll ask one or two simple follow-up questions.

2) We schedule a 30-minute Zoom planning call

This is a calm, practical conversation to:

  • Confirm fit (pace, terrain, comfort)
  • Understand what you’re hoping for
  • Answer your questions clearly
  • Co-create the shape of the day

3) You'll receive a clear recommendation

Based on your timing, location, and preferences, I’ll recommend the best fit among the private options and outline what it would look like.

4) If you decide to proceed, we confirm next steps

Once you’re ready, your date is reserved and you’ll receive simple preparation details so the experience begins smoothly and calmly.

You’ll leave the process with clarity, whether that’s a confirmed plan, a proposed option, or the sense that it’s not the right fit right now. If it feels aligned, we move forward simply and clearly. If it doesn’t, you’ll still leave with useful perspective for your time in the Rockies.

  • a fully private experience (1–2 guests only)

  • quiet routes rather than crowded icons

  • unhurried pacing and time to pause

  • in-depth interpretive guiding woven throughout the day

  • a day co-created around you, not delivered from a menu

A Note on Fit

If you’re seeking a group tour, a fast-paced hike, or a fixed itinerary, this may not be the right fit, and that’s completely okay.

These journeys are intentionally private, unhurried, and shaped collaboratively rather than delivered from a preset plan.

Clarity around fit is part of good guiding, and it helps ensure the experience feels right for everyone involved.
